Sleeping like a star at one of the most romantic hotels in Mallorca
This hotel (a former fortress) is rugged, romantic and the setting is of elusive beauty. Hotel Cap Rocat is unique and located in the most secluded area of Palma. If you have something to spend, check in here. Preferably, of course, in one of the luxurious suites with a private pool and a view of the sea situated in-between the rocks. If this is just outside your price range, there are also more friendly priced rooms available. If you don’t want to pay the top price and still discover this beautiful location a little bit, opt for an extensive lunch in one of the two restaurants (Sea Club, La Fortaleza) for a top-notch dinner for two. I’ve never stayed spent the night here yet, but the restaurant comes pretty close.

2. Hotel La Residencia a Belmond Hotel
Do you believe in fairy tales? Well after seeing this hotel you most definitely do. You can have breakfast here amidst citrus trees and Mediterranean flowers in the garden. Each room has been furnished with the utmost care and the quaint village where this hotel is located is just as enchanting. So, haven’t you’ve heard about the small mountain village: Déia? Let me tell you all about it. This picturesque town in the northwest of Mallorca has 642 inhabitants and an area of 15 km². Deia is one of my personal favorite places because it is located in a beautiful valley in the Tramuntana Mountains. Almost as gorgeous as the highly elegant Belmond Hotel, La Residencia. This beautiful building is dating back from the 16th century, has 2 pools, tennis courts, sea and mountain views and an award-winning restaurant and spa. I’ve walked past this hotel and it’s on my wishlist to go there sometime.

4. Boutique Hotel Can Alomar | Palma
Looking for elegance? And a hotel in the middle of Palma? Then you’ve got to check in at Boutique Hotel Can Alomar. It’s very secluded and private with only 16 rooms and located right on the Paseo del Borne. I’ve got surprised by visiting the restaurant last year and I can recommend their restaurant De Tokia a Lima, for sure. They serve a unique selection of Mediterranean and Japanese gastronomy and if that wasn’t enough the terrace is overlooking the busy and most beautiful street of Palma from above. Can you imagine? Having breakfast here, walking outside of your hotel and you’re right next to Louis Vuitton for some shopping? Count me in!

5. Hotel Monnaber Vell | Campanet
Experience the silence and strength of Nature with Mediterranean ambiance here at this beautiful rural hotel in Mallorca. There are 400 Acres of cultivated land, forest- and mountain area, which belong to the hotel. Of course you would like to book this hotel just for the view and the beautiful swimming pool, but here too you can enjoy the local specialties. Make sure you make a reservation in the morning and choose your favorite dishes, because these dishes are picked up and prepared especially for you. Later in the evening you can enjoy a delicious dinner in a beautiful setting by the pool in one of the most romantic hotels in Mallorca.
