They have several different cavas and they are ranging between elegant and fine bubbles to a more fruity and sweet ones. I always opt for the brut, and it’s delicious.

The tapas menu at Five Brothers Fat is amazing and ofcourse a Spanish-inspired cuisine. In the meat section, the Iberico Beef Carpaccio and Iberico Ribs are unmissable. The ribs, with their spicy yogurt, sesame, and red pepper, fall effortlessly off the bone, while the carpaccio, served with truffle cheese, is always a winner. Seafood lovers will revel in the Gambas Ajillo and Calamares. The Gambas, with its simple yet flavorful preparation is a classic done right.

My favorites like Pimientos de Padron, Chorizo Croquetas, and Iberico Ribs are not just delicious bring me right back to when i was living in Spain, on the island Mallorca. Oh how I miss that island and being here always makes me happy. The food is not the only thing that makes me feel at home, also the personnel that is always welcoming and happy to see me back, making it my go-to destination for tapas in Haarlem.

» For those who love their greens, the Bloemkool (Cauliflower) with romesco sauce, Manchego, and smoked almonds is a standout.

To end on a sweet note, the dessert options like Muerte Por Chocolate, Basque Cheesecake, and Nougat Parfait don’t only look delicious but actually are.
