Cannes travel guide for 3 days

Day 1 – Cannes travel guide for 3 days

Start your day with a morning walk through Le Suquet. Stroll your way through narrow cute streets, get your daily dose of caffeine in one of the cute little terraces and visit one of the many boutiques. Le Suquet is the old city center and definitely worth a visit.

After you have admired the old part of the city, it is time to discover Rue d’Antibes. This long street is full of your favorite high street fashion brands.

For amazing food & signature cocktails just go to the top floor of your hotel of the night at the Five Seas Hotel and go to Le Roof and have the best rooftop view in Cannes. For more information about this hotel, I’ve written a full hotel review here.

Day 2 – Cannes travel guide for 3 days

After you have slept well and had breakfast at the first hotel, it is time to leave for Hotel Barrière Le Gray d’Albion. This hotel is perfectly located between the beach and right on the Boulevard de la Croisette and this is exactly where I recommend you spend your day.

As soon as you leave your hotel, you walk on the Boulevard de la Croisette. This is Cannes at its best with the luxurious shops, the view of the sea and the beach, the beautiful hotels and the most beautiful cars. If you like beautiful cars, this is the place to spot them.

Spend your day relaxing at the private beach of this hotel and spend your day with cocktails and the comfiest loungers. If you have become curious about this beautiful hotel with the perfect location, read more here for the full hotel review.

Day 3 – Cannes travel guide for 3 days

To see a little more of the French Riviera, I chose the last day to head for Theole sur Mer to the beautiful Tiara Miramar Beach Hotel. The beaches of Théoule sur Mer are without a doubt the most beautiful and quieter.

But what to do in Theole sur Mer? While this town is a bit small. There is enough to do with their attractive harbor and beautiful beaches.

I personally have hardly left my hotel because I really needed some time to relax. After a delicious lunch complete with delicious fresh seafood and the best champaign ever, I went to the hotels spa and even to the gym. I spent my last day at the beautiful swimming pool including a view of the sea. If you are looking for the best of the best, I recommend you to read my complete review about this great hotel here in a full hotel review.

How to travel to Cannes

You fly to Nice Cote d’Azur Airport (NCE) and from there you have several options to get to Cannes. The fastest way is by taxi, which costs around €70 – €90 euros and takes a little less than half an hour. The cheapest way is with a rideshare which costs you around 45 minutes and around €3 euros.

Of course you can also rent your own car, but if you want to travel without a car there is a super good train connection that leaves every 30 minutes and lasts 42 minutes and costs between €6- €27 euros.
