Ultimate 1 Week Dubai itinerary

Dubai, perhaps one of the most known and most popular places in the beautiful Middle East. To me it always feels a bit like a fairytale world, the Middle East. Dubai is unlike anywhere else. But what is there to do now? I will tell you all about it in my 1 Week Dubai itinerary where I not only visit all the hotspots but also try many new things.

In this beautiful city, in the middle of knowhere (read: a lot of sand) you will find a city. A city that is incredibly versatile; you not only have sun, sea and beach but also a lot of culture and above all a lot of luxury and glam. You almost cannot imagine it, but in Dubai you will find the most expensive of everything and it seems as if the Lamborghinis, Ferraris and other expensive car brands are given away for free. Everything in Dubai is the largest, most expensive, highest or at least the superlative, which makes Dubai never boring and there is always something to do.

1 Week Dubai itinerary

  • Day 1-3 : Start your trip in Dubai Creek
  • Day 3-5: Immerse yourself in nice beats, luxury and great views at The Palm
  • Day 5-8: End your trip in the city center

Because of the size of Dubai and the many things to do you can easily spend more days here. If you want to know the absolute best things to do in Dubai, read more here.

Day 1-3: Start your trip in Dubai Creek | 1 Week Dubai itinerary

Are you looking for a hotel in the old heart of the city close to the airport? Then stay at the 5 star hotel Al Bandar Rotana, like me. This modern, architecturally-striking property, features 190 uniquely-designed luxury hotel rooms and suites. Spacious, luxurious and featuring the latest amenities, options range from standard rooms to suites, ideal for both business and leisure travellers and families visiting Dubai.

Guests are spoiled for choice with five dining options to suit every taste and occasion during their stay in Dubai. From seasonal authentic food at Gusto Italian Restaurant to Morgan’s Bar & Restaurant, the only gastropub in Dubai Creek, you are in for a real treat. For casual meals, all-day dining restaurant Salt & Pepper is just the ticket, while Vanilla Lobby Lounge is the place to enjoy tea, coffee and snacks. All outlets are complemented with a terrace overlooking stunning views of the Creek and Dubai’s skyline. Refreshing drinks and snacks are served at The Deck Pool Lounge. Day 3-5: W Dubai Palm | 1 Week Dubai itinerary

Are you looking for a hotel that has everything whenever you want it? Yes, I’m talking about my favorite hotel again; W Hotels! #whenever, wherever you want it is their motto and what’s not to love about that? Located right on The Palm, this hotel offers everything you want in a hotel. This stunning resort hotel on Palm Jumeirah has a day spa, waterfront pool, squash court, rooftop bar, DJ’s, several pool areas and delicious food. Oh and don’t forget the top restaurants with celebrity chefs such as Massimo Bottura and Akira Back serving the best dishes with stunning views. There are over 350 rooms and suites that provide dreamy views throughout this beautiful sleek hotel. Are you looking for luxury, glitter and glamor then this is the place to see and be seen.

As always I advise you what to do in each hotel but to be honest I never wanted to leave the W Dubai premises. And that’s a first for me! From sunrise to sunset there are always new fun things and adventures to experience in the hotel. I moved wonderfully from breakfast, to the bean bags on the private beach, to the sumptuous spa, various swimming pools and a yoga session. For the more active people among us you can go to the gym, enjoy some water sports. Later during the day, head to the top deck for sunset cocktails and delicious food.
